Life and Death

Assalam-o-Alaikum WarehmatUllah Wabarakaatoh.

Today I would like to give you a short message about what I feel about the world today. As you see, hazards and accidents have grown lately. For example, 911, Pentagon incident, Kashmir Earthquake, South Asian Tsunami, Punjab floods, Japan Tsunami, domestic robbery and theft etc. Civil problems have also rised to an unbearable extend like killing, target killing, judicial injustice, corruption, poverty etc. Have we all ever wondered the cause of it?


Ladies and Gentlemen, we have forgotten the values of Islam. Those who follow islam in our society is given names. Names given by muslims if not other people that is the saddest part. Our own muslim brothers and sisters are giving names to people who really follow orders by Allah Almighty. He is said to be a "maulana" "molvi" "saada" "mulla" forgetting that some of these names were given as titles to Muhammad (s.a.w). Then they say to that person later as "extremist" or then "dangerous" etc.

Somewhere in a muslims life comes a point where he/she usually turns REALLY islamic and then faces these words and insults. That person faces these insults NOT from a christian, hindu, jew, buddhist but our own muslim fellows thats the sad part. The first attack comes from our own families. I have seen parents myself who took their children out of their school because he or she was caught studying in a mosque rather than school library. If we consider the fact then either way, the student is only studying! Still these things have grown in our societies. Indeed in such a society where Allah Almighty, the ONLY creator is neglected and muslims find peace in worldly and sinful ways. Is not that going to make Allah Almighty angry at us? This is why all hazards are taking place. Allah is telling us all He is angry. He is only waiting for us all to bow down and ask for forgiveness.
