Laysal Ghareeb – The Stranger Is Not | A Poem by Zaynul ‘Aabideen ‘Alee bin Husayn bin ‘Alee bin Abee Taalib (RH)

Translation:-

A short poem addressing the satan

How do I know that you are favoring me
How would I not feel that you are endangering me
You are the cause of distress in me
Still the one who will be punished will be me

When you play your sounds I can hear
But unfortunately I have to bear
My ears let those sounds go in me
And you have total control in me

Let me live in peace
For what I have been made for
Why wont you leave me
For its your own mistake that you are cursed
In this life and the hereafter

Now that I have realised you
I cant bear you
Your presence can be fealt
Yet I can't tolerate you

My word for you is 'curse'
The impotent victory in this world is still your lie at the worst
I feel you are inside me
Still you are not wanted
Then why have you started torturing me?

I have a home for me
To live and to feed me
You are a stranger over here
Who misguide me in ever possible way
And I wait till when you abandon me
And I sure will be happy
To see the new me...
